For over 12 years Dan has given thousands of hours of volunteer work to his community as a coach and mentor.  He has taught teamwork, and competitive skills to many young athletes and has modeled the highest standards and principles for young students and athletes. Thank you for your  contribution to the hockey program at the Red Deer College and the positive impact you have made on the lives of many young men who have played on the team. The results of your leadership and commitment will be seen for many years to come through the lives of these young men.  I cannot fully appreciate the commitment you have made to coach the Kings, maintain a full - time teaching position in the public school system and be a father but know that the sacrifices you have made for the program have been significant.  Thank you for that! I believe your skills and experience will continue to be an asset to us in other initiatives that we have and are developing.
